Sharon Yvonne Stone was born on March 10 of 1958 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to accountant Dorothy Lawson and tool and die manufacturer also a former worker at a factory Joseph William Stone II. Stone has three brothers: Michael, Kelly, and Patrick. Stone started second grade in kindergarten at the age of five. Stone graduated from high school with a certificate from Saegertown which is located in Saegertown situated in Pennsylvania in 1975. She was also a contestant at Saegertown's Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, winning Miss Crawford County. Stone was moved from Pennsylvania to New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt to take on a job as an actress. In just a few months, Stone signed up for the Ford Modeling Agency. After one year of modeling between Milan and Paris the model moved to Europe. Stone however became disillusioned in Europe in the modeling business and decided to move to acting. Woody Allen's film, "Stardust Memories", received mixed reviews in her 20s.
